ACAB – All Childrensbook Are Beautiful
2024 ACAB *Ambiguous Beauty* Group Exibithion at FIG. Festival in Sofia The ACAB work was produced for the first time for an exhibition of drawings and illustrations by me and Andrea Antinori, in Bologna. Since all illustrations were made for children's books, the title chosen for the exhibition was All Childrensbooks Are Beautiful (ACAB). Although these illustrations were for children, I used an irreverent language to communicate a lawless dimension. The ACAB pun thus created a contrast between the innocent world often associated with childrens' literature and the violence inherent in the ACAB meaning and context. For this reason, I created a paradoxical "puppy-sculpture" that evoked this message of violence through playful forms. All the puppets were nailed to the wall.
